We survived the first month!

Here are some updated pictures of the little guy. Things are going really well, we are getting enough sleep to survive on, Billy's mom is here which has been a HUGE help. We have been fortunate enough to get out and have a few nice dinners, I was able to get out for a facial and Billy got to golf with some work freinds. It is amazing how the little things seem like such a big deal now!

Aunt Steph Comes to Town

We got hungry on the Mountain and because it was raining this was lunchtime in the backseat of the car!

We went to Mt. Lemon for the day, it was only 65 degrees which was a nice break from the 100 degree heat down here...as you can see we needed to bundle the little guy up...socks, beanie, etc.

He seemed to be much more content in dad's arms!!

I cant completely forget about Mindy, I couldn't find her the other day and low and behold she had gotten herself stuck behind the garbage can in the back yard...not a great idea when it is 110 outside!

We have discovered that the little frog enjoys bath time. He also has a serious case of Baby Acne which we are hoping will clear up soon!

Billy's sister was kind enough to come help us out this week, she was a HUGE help, especially at 5 in the morning!! Things are going well, Reilly is doing GREAT, we are still working on getting back to sleep after the night time feedings, I am open to ANY and ALL advice!

2 Week Check Up

This was Reilly's first outing...he was there we promise...he is hiding behind the table, if it were up to Grandpa Teddy we would have woken him up for the photo op!

During one of his many naps the other day Billy looked down and got this cute surprise!

We went to the Doctor today for Reilly's 2 week check up, everything was great. He gained back the weight that he lost and then some and grew about an inch! Evidently mom's milk is doing the trick! We are convinced that there isn't much to a baby's digestive system, we are changing diapers about every 4 minutes! Here are some updated pics from bathtime and nap time. And I promise we were not torturing him with Mindy, simply introducing him to his big sister!

Adjusting to life at home

Things are well here. Reilly is doing great, we went to the pediatrician yesterday, he still hasn't gained any weight but she wasn't too concerned. We are still working on the when to sleep and when to eat times but we are getting there slowly but surely. It has definitely been a team effort! Here are some pictures from our first few days at home.

Reilly's first 4th of July was a fun one. We thought we might get to go home today, but they wanted us to stay another night because he was born so late on Thursday. Things are going well, we've made great friends with the nursing staff....I'm sure we'll miss them tomorrow when we go home and they aren't at our becken call! Welcome Baby Reilly!!!!

Yesterday was one of the longest days of our lives, but at 10:21 pm we welcomed Reilly to the world! He was 7lbs 8oz and 20.5in long. We're doing great, just trying to get some sleep when we can and get the whole feeding thing down!!!

Almost Done

Here is one last shot from this morning, we are in the hospital ready to go. I am all hooked up to everything and good to go, having a few contractions but no pain yet, thank goodness.
