Nothing in particular

I borrowed Kelsey's Eliptical for a little work out and this is what I woke up to...nap time on the patio.

Just like the good old days, I definitely think we could pass for 21 again!

Getting better at tummy time....

And starting to roll to our side.

We cant forget about our other girl...she is so good and is starting to sleep through the night as well (she went through a phase when she thought she needed to eat at 3:30am...I gave in)

Now that it is getting a little cooler the Rei-man and I did some yard work

A little mom and dad fun at the Country Music Festival, Neal McCoy was...entertaining :)

Joined by Katie for Leanne Womack...good times!

I wish I had some super exciting event to update everyone with but I don't have much! Billy and I went up to Phoenix last weekend with Reilly to see Kelsey and JJ. The boys went camping and "rangering" and we had a wonderful weekend catching up at home. We did have a girls night out which was great, it was just like old times!
Reilly has been awesome, here are a few pictures of what we have been up to...after getting a scolding from aunt Kelsey we have been doing our tummy time religiously and it is showing...he is getting there!

Work is good for Billy and I, we both really look forward to our weekends, I have been trying to get out and walk and jog as much as I can...you all weren't kidding when you said the baby weight was tough to take off!!
I hope all is well!!

Is Fall finally here!!!

Reilly hangin at Target last night
A few weeks ago we were all dressed up in our Michigan gear for the game and proceeded to spit up on our outfit. We seemed happier just being naked to watch the game so we just went with it!

I know, I know, I am officially flunking the blog updates. Here are a few updated pictures of the little fella. Things are going great here with nothing too exciting to report. Reilly slept through the night twice last week (10pm until 7am) it was awesome! He is such a good boy, it is crazy to watch him grow up each day and become more and more interactive. He still continues to smile at his daddy whenever he sees him!! The babysitter is going well, Billy is able to get him relatively early in the afternoon which is nice and then we have a hand off of some sort before Billy goes to practice.

Billy went to El Paso this past weekend to watch Fendi play football (Fendi is a U of A basketball player turned University of Houston football player who Billy and his friend Keith helped mentor). It sounds like El Paso wasn't much to look at but he did get a really cool pair of Cowboy boots which he is very excited about!

The weather is finally starting to cool off so my mom and I thought it would be a good idea to hike the Telephone Line trail at Sabino Canyon yesterday...8 miles in all, most of which was uphill!! We were both exhausted but really enjoyed the scenery and most importantly we survived!! That is about it from here, I hope all is well with everyone!!

Reilly's Baptism

Reilly's future mother-in-law and I. I hope she approves of him!

"All ready for my big day"

Aunt Katie and Uncle Tommy

Grandma cant seem to get enough of her Frog

This is a little late but I have been back at work this week so I am behind on everything! Last Sunday Reilly was baptised at Tanque Verde Lutheran Church, this has been my church since we moved here when I was a kid so it meant a lot to me to have it their. We were fortunate to have Billy's mom and dad out as well as Tommy as he and Katie were Reilly's sponsors. We had a wonderful weekend, we all went to Billy's game on Friday night. My mom and I were only planning on staying for a quarter but Reilly champed it out the entire game...I think he enjoyed being outside seeing the lights and listening to the sounds. The baptism was Sunday, we were joined by our families as well as our good friends Ben and Tarrah and Suzette with Luc and Brett, we all went and had a nice brunch at Tucson Country Club afterwards.

After the great weekend reality set in for Billy and I. We had to drop Froggy off at his babysitters house everyday this week. I didn't sleep much for those last few nights I just couldn't fathom how somebody else was going to get to be with him all day everyday. It actually has been nice to be back to work, it also helps that Billy's job is flexible so he can pick him up relatively early most days. I keep telling myself that Reilly will be well socialized after doing this...it is the only thing that gets me through it!! We hope all is well!!

Its Game Day!

Bathtime getting ready for the Big Game (yes I know it is Western Michigan but we are taking babysteps!!)
What could possibly be better!
We might be sitting up on our own by the end of the season...not sure really, just a guess
GO BLUE!!

Are any of you surprised that we have been looking forward to this day for a long time. Uncle Brady and Aunt Margaret got Reilly this outfit last Christmas, we had it at the bottom of a drawer because we figured it would be a while before it would fit. Good thing we got it out, I am not sure if he will fit in it at the end of the season!!
We love having our little buddy here to watch the games with us...we still love our Michigan Wolverines even amid the controversy!!

2 Month Check Up

Recovering from my shots

I cant believe it, Reilly turned 2 months old yesterday!! For his one week birthday Grandma Doe made him rice crispy treats, he cant quite figure out why he hasnt gotten a suprise every Thursday since he was born. (Really its ok, mom has some serious baby weight to lose!!)

We survived the two month check up and shots this afternoon. With Billy in Phoenix my mom came with me. Reilly was a champ to say the least, after three shots he screamed for about a minute and is now sound asleep, the picture above is what he has looked like since we left the doctor. The Doctor said everything looks great with the Frog. Below are his current stats...

23.5 inches long (he was born at 20.5)

12lb 5 oz (he was born at 7.86)

She said everything is right on track which is always nice to hear. We are all grateful we don't have to go to do the shots again for 2 months!!

I go back to work one week from today, as excited as I thought I would be to get back to work, the closer the day gets the sadder I get. I cant believe somebody else is going to be taking care of him everyday!

And finally, I tried to set my comments options so that anyone can leave a comment. You all tell me you read this but nobody leaves notes!! This is the highlight of my day during Froggy's nap time!!

Should we be encouraging this???

Like father, like son!!

"Mom get out of the way I am watching the game!!"

So we have decided that Reilly likes the TV, as I am sure most babies do. I feel really bad putting him in front of it but he really likes the colors and the sounds. Now, he does prefer Sponge Bob of all things and an occasional Baby Einstein, however Billy is thrilled to report that he has a new football buddy.

Everything is great here, Reilly is doing awesome. He gets up only once in the night to eat (knock on wood!!), some days he makes it until 5 in the morning!! We go to the Dr. this Thursday for this 2 month check up, I am dreading the shots!!!

Our First Family Vacation

Reilly is ready to go at the zoo...the hat is a little big but we are not used to the sun!!
Just hangin with Dad

We had to get a picture with an elephant in the background for the elephant theme in Reilly's room!

Uncle Brady and Aunt Margaret

Someday we will actually make it to the sand and in the ocean!

Billy and Montana

The two best babysitters EVER! McKenna and Mikaela

We survived our first Family Vacation! We packed Reilly up in the car and headed off to see family in San Diego and Orange County for a few days. Our first stop was to see Uncle Brady and Margaret. We had a great time just enjoying the nice weather, Reilly hardly knew what to do with himself with real sunlight and fresh air! The 110 degree heat at home has made it a little tough to get out! We visited old friends, walked around Del Mar, did a little shopping (Mom managed to survive all by herself!) and took our first trip to the Zoo. Reilly was awesome and just loved being outside.

Our next stop was to see the Does up in Huntington Beach. We had a GREAT time, the girls would not leave Reilly's side! They are going to be great cousins! Billy got to go golfing with Montana, even though he got beat by a 14 year old he had a great time! We are fully expecting to see the Does here for Thanksgiving!

While in Orange County we also got to go see the Seager clan. We had a wonderful time sitting out on aunt Sue's back patio while all of Billy's cousins played "lets hold the baby"...Mom and Dad were thrilled to just sit and visit for a while!!!

We survived the trip home, but are definitely tired and now need a vacation from our vacation. Grandpa Ted had knee surgery yesterday so Reilly had to go up and take care of him for a while...things seem to be going well but as you can all expect my dad hasn't sat down yet!!
