Trip to Minnesota

Just chillin at the game with his beer like daddy

Hangin out with our cousins before the game wearing his new Twins shirt from Grandpa

We woke up to a soggy bed on morning one of our vacation and needed a bath!!

Uncle and Brady and I surviving the week!

We were able to take a full week at the beginning of August to head up north and spend time on Gull Lake (one of my parents favorites!). I am not sure I could have made it through the week without the help of my mom and sister...we learned really quickly there is not much relaxing to be done on a vacation with a one year old! We were also able to spend a night in Minneapolis hanging out with my cousins and going to a Twins game in the new stadium.

We are all back home now getting settled into a routine which is nice. Reilly is great and is starting to take a few steps. He seems to be allergic to something in our house and we cant figure out what it is...I am open to hearing any advice!!! Football season is around the corner and with that comes cooler weather so we are all very excited!! Enjoy these pictures...I still cant figure out how to get them in any sort of order!! Kelsey...Paige...help...please!!

Reilly's Birthday Week

The little monkey went wandering behind the couch and found his way to the tube!!

Aunt Steph and Uncle Tom

Cute new overalls!

He loved every one of his presents!

The Ernie and Bert cake seemed like a good idea until we discovered Rei was allergic to the red die in the red velvet cake!!

We have such a crazy but great past week, Reilly turned one on the 2nd! I cant believe it!! This has been the greatest year for all of us, he is such an amazing little boy and never fails to bring a smile to our faces. We love him SOOO much. Here are some pics from a great weekend which included most of the clan from St. Louis and even some of Billy's extended family, his cousins and aunt from Newport. It has been miserably hot but the new pool has been a life saver!!

Oh yeah, one more thing...

Our new backyard

WE MOVED!!!

Don't ask me why we decided to go to Napa the week we were supposed to close on our house! We were SO fortunate to have been able to sell out first house we owned for a little less than what we owed. Considering the market we took it as a victory. We are SOOOOO happy to be in our new home. It is in the neighborhood across the street from our other one but on a big piece of land with a beautiful view, a pool and room to grow! Reilly has been great but is starting to get a little more independent. With a little assistance from furniture he is walking all over the place and has decided that he does not like when he doesn't get what he wants. Since he has been such an amazing baby Billy and I really don't know what to do! All in all he is still amazing, sleeping all night, has a ton of personality, 6 teeth and talks up a storm.

Most importantly Frog will be turning 1 in 2 and a half weeks!!! I can not believe it!!

Mom and Dad get away for a weekend

At the Castle that was on the bachelor

Suzette and I before one of the best dinners I have ever had at Redd
On the way to Alcatraz

Aside from a quick turn-around trip to Vegas a few months ago Billy and I have not been away since Rei was born. We were able to take a trip to San Francisco and Napa with some very good Friends of ours for 5 days in May. As much as we LOVE Reilly and LOVE being with him it was SO nice to get to sleep in for 4 DAYS and get away from our stressful jobs. Everyone kept asking us what wineries and restaurants we were going to go to before we went...my response was always "I don't really care, I might sleep the whole trip!" As it turns out we did not, we spent a great night in San Fran, stayed at the Mark Hopkins, had a great dinner and went to Alcatraz. When we got to Napa I truly think my blood pressure fell through the floor! We enjoyed great wine, amazing food and the most relaxing weekend the two of us can remember in a long time. We can not wait to go back!

Trip to St. Louis

Reilly loved watching the planes and the trucks on the runway!

The whole crew

I think Grandma Suzie Q was in heaven!!

Gettin ready to go see my cousins

We were able to sneak away for a long weekend to St. Louis in the end of April for Aubrey's (Reilly's cousin) third birthday. We had a GREAT time catching up with family and friends. I always love making it back to the midwest, it is so relaxing and I love the weather...humidity and all. Reilly was great on the plane and had a great time playing with his cousins and aunt and uncle (and of course Grandma Suzie Q and Grandpa Bill)!

Reilly's First Baseball Game

It has been FOREVER since I have updated this, so rather than cramming it all into one post I am going to pretend as though I have been keeping up on this.

In April we brought Rei to his first baseball game. Billy was SO excited that the Cards were playing in Phoenix...it was fitting that his first game was a Cardinal game! We had a great time, I was able to go see clients in PHX before the game then we were able to enjoy a beautiful 70 degree evening at Chase Field. As usual Rei was pretty much perfect, he was smiling at everyone that would look at him, slept for the 4th and 5th innings, woke up to catch the 6th and 7th and overall seemed to enjoy himself!

Easter Sunday

Billy, Reilly and I had a GREAT weekend in Palm Springs for Easter. Our friends invited us out to their home to enjoy a relaxing weekend of doing nothing. I am not sure how, but with a 1 year old, a 9 month old, and a 10 week old it was one of the most relaxing weekends we have had in a LONG time! Billy and the boys golfed, us girls had a nice afternoon at the spa. Reilly was fantastic on the drive both ways...just laughing talking away and sleeping. Things are well at home, Billy is heading up to the NASCAR race in Phoenix this weekend (I don't really understand it, something about living out a white trash dream). Reilly and I plan to do a whole lot of nothing and are VERY much looking forward to it!!
