Reilly's First Baseball Game

It has been FOREVER since I have updated this, so rather than cramming it all into one post I am going to pretend as though I have been keeping up on this.

In April we brought Rei to his first baseball game. Billy was SO excited that the Cards were playing in Phoenix...it was fitting that his first game was a Cardinal game! We had a great time, I was able to go see clients in PHX before the game then we were able to enjoy a beautiful 70 degree evening at Chase Field. As usual Rei was pretty much perfect, he was smiling at everyone that would look at him, slept for the 4th and 5th innings, woke up to catch the 6th and 7th and overall seemed to enjoy himself!

Easter Sunday

Billy, Reilly and I had a GREAT weekend in Palm Springs for Easter. Our friends invited us out to their home to enjoy a relaxing weekend of doing nothing. I am not sure how, but with a 1 year old, a 9 month old, and a 10 week old it was one of the most relaxing weekends we have had in a LONG time! Billy and the boys golfed, us girls had a nice afternoon at the spa. Reilly was fantastic on the drive both ways...just laughing talking away and sleeping. Things are well at home, Billy is heading up to the NASCAR race in Phoenix this weekend (I don't really understand it, something about living out a white trash dream). Reilly and I plan to do a whole lot of nothing and are VERY much looking forward to it!!

Grandma Sue Comes to Town

I love my Grandma Susie Q!

Just chillin at the air show

Couldn't hear a thing!

My new favorite food!! Pickles!!

We were so lucky to have Grandma Sue come to town to spend her Spring Break with us. We had a great week...Reilly was able to stay home with her every day which was really nice! We had a really great time at the air show on base, it was something we had always talked about doing and I must say we REALLY enjoyed ourselves. Billy has his fingers crossed that his love of planes will be passed on to Reilly. Our noise cancelling headphones did come in handy for Rei and he actually did really well with them.
The rest of the week was spent spending time together with both of our families, cooking out and enjoying the beautiful weather.
Reilly is SO close to crawling, he is getting up on all fours and rocking back and forth and can manage to roll just about anywhere he wants to go. We are also still working on a few more teeth...these things seem to take a long time!!

We are looking forward to spending Easter in Palm Springs with friends doing a whole lot of nothing!! I hope all is well with everyone!

We are getting close

I cant get these pictures in order! Rei just hangin out before bed time.

After a little hair cut from my mom and dad

Working in crawling

Pre Hair cut...holy cow it was long!

We suck fingers instead of thumbs...oh well

I am SO sorry for the delay in the posts, I have some serious making up for lost time to do!

Things are GREAT here, Reilly is doing awesome, we think crawling is right around the corner. Since we have not done this before we cant really say for sure but he gets up on all fours and rocks.
We had a rather eventful February...
On a sad note my mom's dad, Grandpa Carl, passed away. He was the best grandfather and great grandfather to all of us. He and my Grandma were amazing role models for all of my cousins, siblings and Billy and me. It is so crazy to think that we were just up in Minnesota visiting Grandpa for his 90th Birthday in December....it is amazing that we all made it up there...I think Grandma Florence organized that one! At the end, as sad as it was, it was so nice to know that he is finally with Grandma again, it was truly where he wanted to be.
In the midst of all this we received a phone call from the Pima County Health Department notifying us that Reilly had been exposed to the Measles while at the Doctors office getting diagnosed with his first ear infection. He ended up being ok but in the time that we were waiting to see if symptoms showed up he was not allowed to go to day care. We leaned on some of our dearest friends to help us out and are SO grateful to have them.
March seems to be off to a better start, we survived the World Matchplay, which is an eventful week for my family all around, work is going well for both Billy and I, Reilly is great, Mindy is great...we really cant complain.
I typically try not to get sappy on here but I must say, Reilly has been the most amazing blessing for both Billy and I. We feel so spoiled and I cant quite figure out what we did to deserve such an amazing, good natured little boy. He is SO happy...we even survived our first few teeth with very few tears. He gets sleepy around 8 every night and just decides it is time to go to sleep, he talks to himself until about 7 in the morning when Billy and I get up for work...I don't know any different but he is a great kid! Now...I don't want to jinx it but I thought it was worth acknowledging.
These pictures aren't anything too exciting but they are better than nothing!

Ski trip with the Rosels

Kaely and I at Starbucks after a long day of skiing

Eric and Billy during our mid day beer stop

Eric and Kaely

Billy and I, kinda far away but SO pretty

Kaely and I on our way to the Mountain

Billy and I were able to get away for a long weekend with Eric and Kaely Rosel for a ski trip to Keystone, CO. We ALWAYS have so much fun with them...this time was no different. I swear Eric is a long lost older brother of mine who likes to pick on me...it never seems to get old!! We had so much fun skiing even though the weather was a little cold and windy...as usual the best part of the ski trip was sitting by the fire, in the hot tub, eating and drinking...and drinking some more!! We did miss Reilly SO much...he stayed with Grandma and Grandpa...I seriously thought they would be ready for a break but it was not easy for them to hand him back over!!
As for the little man...he just started rolling over from his back to his front, now I know what you all mean when you tell me it is all over once he starts moving. This morning I heard Mindy's dog door while I was washing Reilly's bottles...I looked over and the Frog had barrel rolled across the room and was sticking his hand our Mindy's dog door...so funny!

I hope all is well with everyone!!

Time flys!!!!

Everything is great out here...nothing too exciting to report. I thought I should post some new pictures. Billy is in PHX for his national sales meeting this week, he hit is annual budget AND their team was selected as region of the year for the entire company...pretty big news!
Reilly and I are just hanging, I cherish every minute I get to spend with him. He loves going to see Susie (babysitter) but it is still SO hard to not be with him every day...needless to say weekends and evenings are my FAVORITE!! He is eating baby food now, so far we have only ventured into Green beans, Sweet Potatoes and Carrots...mmm. I was glad to read, however, that there aren't any nasty preservatives in baby food..who knew, I think it is the only think in the grocery store that doesn't have any!! I hope all is well with everyone else!

A New Year, A New Diet...For Reilly

Kels and I
Great time with Kelsey's friends from up in PHX

Just like old times!
A little "Christmased" Out

Sorry about the Red Eyes
Reilly and Ethan
Eating some Rice Cereal...he seemed to get the hang of it

We had a great New Year at JJ and Kelseys, we always look forward to it and it NEVER disappoints. It is getting really fun to see all of the kids, I swear in a few years it is going to be crazy with all of them running around. The day we got back was also Reilly's 6 month Birthday (well kind of a birthday I guess) we celebrated by adding some rice cereal into his diet. We go for the 6 month check up tomorrow...details to follow!
